Sean McGillivray

Chief Executive Officer

Sean McGillivray is a Managing Partner and the Chief Executive Officer for Kingsview Partners. He is a Financial Advisor and an operations and technology integration expert. Sean runs the day to day operations of the firm, oversees the administrative staff, sits on the investment committee, and works with the firm’s custodial partners to manage the advisor onboarding process.

Sean began his career as a commodities broker at Great Pacific Trading Company in Grants Pass, Oregon where he soon assumed a leadership role as a partner and Vice President of the firm. His time at Great Pacific was instrumental in honing his skills as a financial industry operations expert and entrepreneur as he strategically diversified Great Pacific’s business into financial planning, traditional and alternative investment management, and insurance.

In 2013 Sean left Great Pacific and joined Kingsview to help build out the firm’s branch office network on the west coast. He was quickly promoted to Chief Operations Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer where he has since served as a tireless resource to our advisors.

Sean is an avid outdoorsman and a private pilot. He enjoys flying his Cessna in his free time. He lives in Grants Pass, Oregon with his wife Amy and sons Declan and Lochlan.

Scott Martin

Chief Investment Officer

Scott D. Martin is Chief Investment Officer of Kingsview Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in Chicago, Illinois. He also serves as Contributor to the Fox News Channel and is a Contributor to The Futures Institute at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).

Prior to Kingsview, Mr. Martin was Chief Market Strategist at United Advisors, LLC, a wealth management firm based in New York City where he was co-chairman of the firm’s investment committee and was responsible for portfolio strategy that was utilized with both firm and third party clients. Mr. Martin began his highly regarded career at Astor Asset Management in Chicago, where he was co-portfolio manager on all of Astor’s ETF-based separate account programs as well as on Astor’s mutual fund complex, which was launched in 2009.

At the company, he and his team were named one of the “Best ETF managers” of 2008 by Forbes and he was author of the weekly “Astor Long/Short Balanced Update” newsletter, which received the NAAIM President’s Award for excellence in financial newsletter writing.

A frequent speaker and lecturer, Mr. Martin has been featured in print and broadcast media such as The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, The Washington Post, and Vanity Fair. He is a former columnist with TheStreet.com and is a volunteer with the The Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago. Mr. Martin earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation offered through the Investments & Wealth Institute™, and was named one of Chicago’s Notable Financial Advisers by Crain’s Chicago Business magazine. Mr. Martin is a recognized graduate from Denison University where he completed a double major in Economics and French, and spent months abroad studying the introduction of the Euro currency and its impact on European markets.

Misty House

Chief Operations Officer

Misty is the Chief Operations Officer for Kingsview Partners.  As the COO, Misty’s chief mandate is to ensure the operational integrity of Kingsview and all the firm’s subsidiary businesses. This requires her to be proficient in nearly every aspect of the firm’s activities and partner with department heads and the firm’s wealth managers to improve operational workflows and enhance end user experience.

Misty comes to Kingsview Partners with over 28 years of experience in the business world. She has spent her career in multiple financial services, including accounting, mortgage, investment and insurance, with the last ten years in an executive capacity.

Misty’s knowledge of the public and corporate accounting arenas, along with her Accounting and Total Quality Management degrees, serve as the foundation for her business management expertise.  She credits her ability to navigate complex situations and personal relationships in order to create efficient systems and increase the bottom line to her years of experience in various service industries. She is a leadership and efficiency expert and has studied the concepts of Six Sigma and process improvement for the last 20 years.

When not at the office, Misty enjoys traveling and appreciating the great outdoors with her husband, James, and their boys, Isaac and Jonah.  She also enjoys painting and volunteering for local charities such as Hearts with a Mission, a teen homeless shelter.

Matt Stolen

Chief Compliance Officer

Matthew (Matt) Stolen is Kingsview Partner’s Wealth Management Chief Compliance Officer. As CCO, Matt’s primary role is developing and monitoring Kingsview Wealth Management’s compliance program. Additionally, he oversees advisor communications and conducts visits of Kingsview branches throughout the country.

Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance and Economics. In 2008 Matt started working as a Branch Examiner at LPL, conducting upwards of 125 branch exams per year. That experience allowed him to gain a unique compliance perspective of the industry at the branch level by working directly with advisors.

After nine years at LPL, Matt moved to the Pacific Northwest. He joined M Financial Group in August 2017 as a Compliance Officer and Examiner, where he continued to conduct onsite branch exams, assisted with the review of retail communication, updated policies and procedures, and supported risk testing.

Matt joined Kingsview in January 2019 as Director of Compliance and became Chief Compliance Officer in January 2021.

Prior to joining Kingsview, Matt held the following FINRA licenses: Series 4, 7, 24, 53 and 66.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, a variety of outdoor activities, riding his motorcycle, listening to expansive his record collection, and trying new PNW breweries

Al Abaroa

Managing Partner

Al Abaroa began his career on an equity desk in 1993. He carries over two decades of experience with areas of concentration in both the equity and the alternative space. Al is a Managing Partner and a Financial Advisor.

He is a frequent speaker, on topics ranging from risk management, portfolio design and algorithmic based, investment disciplines. He has joined the international circuit with speaking engagements in London as well as Bogota, Colombia. In addition, Al is the author of “Options Pro Essentials”. The book helps novice and intermediate traders with the complexities of options based strategies. He is a respected source for market commentary. His insights have been shared with CNBC, BNN, and printed in the Dow Jones Wires, Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Reuters, and Bloomberg.

Al’s experience in the investment arena does not end there. He served as sector editor of MegaTrends, an all markets monthly periodical distributed by Dow Jones News, providing commentary and insight . He was also the author of over 150 issues of the “Commodity Wire” a weekly publication covering global markets and trade. Al has been interviewed by Michael Covel, best-selling author, film director and founder of TrendFollowing.com to discuss his White Paper on the modalities of trend following and risk management.

Aaron Klemow

Managing Director, Business Development

Aaron Klemow is the Managing Director of Business Development for Kingsview Partners. He is an advisory transition specialist, marketing consultant, and business development expert for the financial services industry. Aaron runs the firm’s recruiting team and is responsible for setting up new branch offices nationwide.

Beginning his career at Kingsview Prime during the height of the financial crisis, Aaron applied his expertise in marketing, digital media and technology to help build and evolve the firm’s global clearing and financial planning businesses. Seeing that the industry was in the middle of a dramatic shift, Aaron spearheaded the development of Kingsview’s Family Office platform in a push to help the firm’s advisors reach higher net worth clientele, improve the overall client experience and offer access to higher end financial advice. His efforts have helped Kingsview’s advisors see measurable results both for clients and their own businesses. His diverse experience covers virtually every aspect of the firm and setting up branch offices has given him a tremendous depth of experience overcoming all the challenges advisors face during transition.

Growing up outside of Manhattan in a New Jersey suburb, Aaron always had a fascination with finance and entrepreneurship. Aaron graduated from American University in Washington DC where he obtained a degree in Business Communications and Economics. While he was in school, Aaron worked in the technology and digital media department at American’s School of Communications, and worked as a digital media consultant. He also studied and interned in London.

Paul Nolte

SVP, Portfolio Manager

Paul Nolte has been serving families’ financial needs for over 30 years. Before joining Kingsview in 2014 as a financial advisor and a member of the investment committee, Paul managed portfolios at a private wealth advisory firm. He also served as a Lead Portfolio Manager for Banc One and National City, helping set investment policies for portfolio managers firm wide.

With his strong interest in analytics, Paul devises a financial strategy that helps clients plan for the future – not only theirs, but also for their beneficiaries. He tailors his advice for each client by integrating their life goals and personal finances while also working with their attorneys and accountants to cover all their financial needs.

Paul has also served in various capacities on the boards of the Elmhurst YMCA, DuPage Easter Seals, Elmhurst Swim Team, Elmhurst Police Pension and Elmhurst Fire Pension. You can hear him regularly on WGN and WBBM Radio in Chicago as well as quoted in various business outlets nationwide.

Mitch Ehmka

Director of Trading

Mitch Ehmka is the Director of Trading at Kingsview Partners. He is the Portfolio Manager for CORE and a member of the Investment Committee. Mitch assists the advisors and the Investment Committee with strategy execution and investment model integration within Kingsview’s systems.

Mitch is a graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a B.S. in Aviation Management. He is a Licensed Pilot and Flight Instructor. Mitch worked as a Flight Instructor at Sawyer Aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona before his deep interest in the financial markets led him to pursue work in financial services. Mitch began his finance career in Fort Lauderdale as a Commodity Broker before joining Kingsview’s Chicago team in 2010.

Growing up in Plano, Texas, Mitch’s interests in both aviation and finance were apparent from a young age. He used to enjoy trading airline stocks in his father’s account. Today, he lives in the west suburbs of Chicago with his fiancé Samantha. When he isn’t monitoring the markets, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and flying.

Aaron Klemow

G. Dallas Dvorsky

SVP Business Development

Originally from the pacific northwest, Dallas began his career in financial services in 2003 as a fixed income specialist at the GMS Group, where he ran the sales desk in the firm’s Miami office. During his time with the firm, Dallas assisted high net worth clients with portfolio diversification and advanced tax and wealth strategies.

In 2008, Dallas began working at Kingview’s Wall Street office where he used the firm’s inherent independence to help clients diversify away from traditional investments during the height of the financial crisis.

Dallas then joined HJ Sims in Iselin, NJ so he could be closer to his family. He worked with the firm’s underwriting and investment banking teams to help liaise with high net worth and corporate clients.

Today, Dallas is proud to be back at Kingsview where he was recruited to serve our advisors as a transition specialist and financial services marketing expert. You can often find him working one on one with our advisors to help them better serve their clients and grow their advisory practices.

Sean Walsh

Business Development Associate

Sean Walsh is a Business Development Associate for Kingsview Partners. He is an advisory transition specialist, marketing and growth resource, and a business analytics expert for the financial services industry. Sean is the tip of the spear for the firm’s recruiting efforts and is responsible for aiding in the process of setting up new branch offices nationwide.

Melissa Smith-White

VP of Strategic Business Development

Melissa is the Vice President of Strategic Business Development for Kingsview Partners. Her primary role is to build recognition for the Kingsview Trust & Insurance Service (KTIS) brand by evaluating current market trends for opportunities and proposing new business development strategies. She works closely with Kingsview Wealth Managers and professionals in our Financial Planning and Advisor Strategy teams to construct a successful, repeatable sales and marketing program.

Melissa graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Business Administration, carries a CWSÒ certification and comes to Kingsview with over 20 years of industry experience. Her business philosophy incorporates a team-focused approach to client service, creating a robust and holistic dynamic that draws on shared talents and experience.

Melissa’s expertise lies in driving revenue and growth while providing innovative organizational development, team leadership and financial management. She credits her professional success to a combination of strategic vision and exceptional relationship development.

Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys cooking, Pilates, and spending time with her husband Todd and children, Sam and Sophia.

Tim Lux

Financial Planning Specialist

Tim Lux is the Financial Planning Specialist for Kingsview Partners. His primary role is to provide planning support and education to advisors so they can best serve their clients. This includes training advisors on how to utilize the tools available to them, introducing relevant services and strategies for clients, and assisting in complex case design.

Before his position at Kingsview, Tim worked at two reputable RIAs, assisting clients and advisors in researching strategies, building financial plans, and helping small business owners and corporate employees reach their goals. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning and has since earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designations. In addition to these, Tim also holds his Life, Accident & Health Producer and FINRA Series 65 Licenses.

Outside of work, you will find Tim enjoying the great outdoors, volunteering for local charities such as Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, and spending time with his family and friends.
