Bruce Lewitas is Chief Legal Officer of Kingsview Partners. As CLO, Bruce leads Kingsview’s legal team, helping develop its legal strategies and continued growth in the wealth management industry. He is a seasoned securities attorney and financial services litigation leader with deep experience across regulatory matters, internal investigations, employment disputes, and complex customer litigation.
He began his legal career with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he served as an enforcement attorney for nearly six years following his graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law with Order of the Coif and high honors. While at the SEC, he investigated potential violations of federal securities laws and prosecuted civil actions in federal court and before administrative law judges.
Later in his career, Bruce moved into private practice and in-house leadership, including roles with EVEREN Securities, his own law firm, Morgan Stanley, and Greenberg Traurig. Across those positions, Bruce oversaw thousands of matters involving customer disputes, employment claims, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations. At Morgan Stanley, he was recruited to build and lead the firm’s Midwest litigation office and later took on responsibility for the firm’s nationwide financial advisor promissory note collection efforts. In March 2026, Bruce joined Kingsview and has led the firm’s legal strategy across a broad range of regulatory, litigation, governance, and business matters.
Bruce holds several degrees, including a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from Michigan State University.
