Katie Dormeier

Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Katie Dormeier attended Indiana University, where
she graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies with an Arts and Humanities Track.
She also completed minors in Sociology, Leadership/Ethics/Social Action, along with
Fundraising and Resource Development.

Katie began her professional financial journey in Chicago, where she gained valuable
experience working for a hedge fund. Katie’s varied roles and responsibilities equipped
her with a deep understanding of the industry – allowing her to provide essential support
to her team, and ensure the smooth operation of the branch.

Katie’s mission expands beyond her day-to-day activities. Her dedication to the work
she does drives Katie to make a positive impact, leaving no stone unturned in the
process. Growing up in a household where financial discussions were integral, she
developed an appreciation for the impact financial planning can have on both individuals
and businesses. This motivated her to pursue a path where she could make a tangible
difference in people’s lives. Moreover, working with her family adds a unique dynamic,
emphasizing trust, shared values, and a strong commitment.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Katie enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time
with her children. She also has a passion for discovering new recipes, movie nights, and
family vacations – especially at Lake George in Indiana.
