Kingsview Partners Welcomes Partner | Wealth Manager Michael A. Vineyard, CFP ®, ChFC ®

Partner and Wealth Manager draws on nearly three decades of military leadership to serve clients throughout Idaho’s West Central Mountains

Kingsview Partners welcomes Michael Vineyard, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Partner, and Wealth Manager, serving clients in McCall and throughout Idaho’s West Central Mountains.

Michael brings years of financial advisory experience and nearly three decades of military service to Kingsview. His career has been defined by leadership, service, and a willingness to take on challenges others might avoid.

In 2010, a highly respected retired Edward Jones advisor warned Michael against moving his practice to McCall, Idaho. Others had tried to succeed there and failed. He believed Michael would, too.

Michael moved within weeks.

What followed was more than the growth of a financial advisory practice. Michael put down roots, built relationships, and developed a deep respect for the people and communities of Idaho’s West Central Mountains. Today, he believes that belonging to a community means accepting responsibility for its future.

That conviction extends to his approach to wealth management.

“Most people aren’t coming into a meeting thinking about legacy. They’re wondering, ‘Am I going to be okay?’ That’s the question we take seriously. The investments matter, but so does knowing the person, the family, and the life behind the plan,” said Michael Vineyard.

Through personalized financial planning, strategic advice, and investment guidance, Michael and his team work to help clients make informed decisions about their financial futures. Rather than beginning with a portfolio, they begin with the people behind it, understanding what matters most and building strategies around the lives clients want to lead.

Michael’s leadership philosophy was forged long before his move to Idaho. He entered West Point in 1995 and served nearly 27 years across the Active-Duty U.S. Army, Michigan Army National Guard, and U.S. Army Reserve. His career included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, national COVID-19 contingency operations, and his retirement as a lieutenant colonel in 2022.

“Michael was told he couldn’t build a practice in McCall. He went anyway, put down roots, and made service to that community part of the work. His military career taught him to lead when the stakes are high. His advisory career shows the same sense of responsibility to the people counting on him,” said Sean McGillivray, COO and President of Asset Management at Kingsview Partners.

Beyond his advisory practice, Michael has remained committed to developing leaders, supporting civic and philanthropic organizations, and strengthening the community he calls home.

He is also a proud father to his two sons, Atlas and Ullr.
