Shaylyn is passionate about connecting with clients and building relationships based on trust, with a thoughtful plan toward achieving client’s goals. Her desire to assist others stems from her personal experience of having a financial plan and knowing the peace of mind it provides; she wants to do her part to educate and support others, so they have their best opportunity at having a successful financial future. Shaylyn has provided customer service for over two decades where she lived and worked in Seattle perusing her interest in Event Planning and Hospitality as Director of Catering for Kimpton Boutique Hotels and Restaurants. She learned about creating and organizing events customized for her clients.

Shaylyn enrolled in an advanced apprenticeship program with Washington State Department of Cosmetology, Seattle Community College and Moda Hair Café and Day Spa for her Esthetics license. A desire to be close to home and her family, led her to pursue a career change where she went to work for Wells Fargo for over a decade, quickly advancing to be the Branch Manager, managing branches in Oak Harbor, Coupeville, Clinton and most recently Freeland.
Shaylyn currently lives in Langley with her husband Wes of 15 years, along with their two daughters. She and her family enjoy local activities of hiking, biking, paddle boarding and skiing.
