Shaylyn Grimm is the Coupeville Branch Office Administrator with Kingsview Asset Management assisting Trenton Lay, Financial Advisor.

As a 3rd generation native of Whidbey Island in Washington State, Shaylyn is grateful to be providing support to the individuals and families of her island community. Having spent her childhood on Whidbey Island, Shaylyn feels blessed to live and work in such an amazing place. Shaylyn is passionate about connecting with clients and building relationships based on trust, with a thoughtful plan toward achieving client’s goals. Her desire to assist others stems from her personal experience of having a financial plan and knowing the peace of mind it provides; she wants to do her part to educate and support others, so they have their best opportunity at having a successful financial future. Shaylyn has provided customer service for over two decades where she lived and worked in Seattle perusing her interest in Event Planning and Hospitality as Director of Catering for Kimpton Boutique Hotels and Restaurants. She learned about creating and organizing events customized for her clients.

With a desire to get away from city life, Shaylyn moved to Woodinville to follow a passion for Spa and Beauty, and to earn her license in Aesthetics. Shaylyn enrolled in an advanced apprenticeship program with Washington State Department of Cosmetology, Seattle Community College and Moda Hair Café and Day Spa for her Esthetics license. A desire to be close to home and her family, led her to pursue a career change where she went to work for Wells Fargo for over a decade, quickly advancing to be the Branch Manager, managing branches in Oak Harbor, Coupeville, Clinton and most recently Freeland.

Shaylyn currently lives in Langley with her husband Wes of 15 years, along with their two daughters. She and her family enjoy local activities of hiking, biking, paddle boarding and skiing. She enjoys volunteering in her daughters’ schools, the local food bank, and other events throughout the community. With a fondness for the Pacific Northwest she especially enjoys making trips with her family to visit destinations of interest in Oregon and Washington.
