Scott brings decades of institutional investment experience to his work. He previously served as an Index Specialist with Monarch Funds and as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Market Strategist at United Advisors, LLC, where he co-chaired the investment committee and led portfolio strategy. He launched his career at Astor Asset Management, co-managing ETF-based investment programs and authoring the widely-read weekly “Astor Long/Short Balanced Update” newsletter.
A recognized voice in financial media, Scott has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, and Yahoo! Finance. He has appeared as a contributor on Fox Business Network and currently serves as a contributor on News Nation. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation and is a former columnist with TheStreet.com. Outside of work, Scott volunteers with The AntiCruelty Society of Chicago. He earned a double major in Economics and French from Denison University.
