Born in Hong Kong, Robert has a multicultural background. After graduating from the University of Arizona, or as he called it, “Bear Down U”, he entered the workforce as an auditor for one of the big four accounting firms.
The interests of personal wealth creation and the stock market eventually drew Robert to a junior portfolio manager position at Bank of America. After gaining valuable experience, he then moved on to join the fiduciary platform of Wells Fargo Private Bank in 1997.
While at Wells he became a key member of the mid-cap and large core stock portfolio management teams as well as managing portfolios for his clients.
Robert’s main priority and passion is to understand the financial goals and requirements of his clients. With a high level of service, he leans on his extensive experience to utilize the most tax efficient solutions, providing a truly unbiased approach. Through this process, Robert finds great satisfaction in helping his clients achieve financial success. With his fiduciary background, he has found an easy fit with Kingsview, their independent platform allowing him to continue offering his clients sophisticated, efficient, and proven financial planning and investment management services.
Robert resides in southern California with his wife Karina, and two high school aged children. In his free time, he has coached his children’s youth basketball and soccer and enjoys being a video coordinator for their high school basketball teams.
