With over 20 years in the Financial Services industry, Wealth Advisor and Partner Robby Porter manages his independent practice at Kingsview Asset Management in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Growing up in Sumter, Robby graduated from the University of South Carolina, obtaining a degree in Business Administration with a major area of concentration in Finance. With his career path seemingly choosing him, Mr. Porter held various positions within the Financial Services industry before joining Kingsview. Having served clients as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and then Wells Fargo, he continues to use his talents to do what he enjoys most: helping people.
With a high degree of empathy, Robby takes his client’s needs personally, always looking for ways to find solutions to help them live life on their terms. With prior firms often hindering his ability to fully embrace the fiduciary model, he and his team are grateful to have found with Kingsview a true independent platform to offer sophisticated wealth management services. These services include personalized guidance, client centric financial planning, professional portfolio management, streamlined performance reporting, and a collaboration with tax and legal professionals.
Currently residing in Murrells Inlet with his wife Becky and two children, Robby enjoys golf, music (specifically the guitar), and spends as much time at the beach as possible.
