Paul Sweeney II, AAMS®, operates his independent Kingsview Partners practice near Steubenville, Ohio—his hometown and the place he and his family still call home today. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kent State University and brings over 11 years of financial experience to Kingsview’s independent platform.
Before entering the financial services industry, Paul worked as a senior project manager in commercial construction, coordinating large-scale development projects. His professional path began even earlier during his military service, where he served as an infantry sniper with one deployment to Afghanistan.
It was during his deployment that Paul began to question the long-term impact of his work. Concerned that he hadn’t done enough to help others, he returned home with a renewed focus. Through prayer and reflection, he decided to pursue a career where he could help individuals and families gain control over their financial lives.
A Process Built on Clarity and Support
Since starting his career as a financial advisor, Paul has guided clients through a process designed to address fear and uncertainty around finances. His approach emphasizes structure, clarity, and education—meeting clients where they are and helping them take manageable steps forward.
Paul specializes in retirement-focused financial planning and comprehensive wealth management. He works primarily with successful individuals and families who have accumulated significant assets and are looking for a trusted partner to help them transition into and through retirement. With a focus on tax efficiency, income distribution, and long-term legacy planning, Paul provides tailored guidance and steady support as his clients’ needs evolve.
Family Life and Personal Interests
Outside the office, Paul’s time is centered around his wife, Kayla, and their four children: Micah, Olivia, Ava, and Elly. Together, they enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time outdoors. Paul also trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has a long-standing interest in architecture, art, reading, and music. He considers learning a lifelong pursuit and integrates it into all areas of his life.
