Strategic Wealth Management – Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Executives and Entrepreneurs
Helping leaders bring greater clarity to the financial decisions that shape their careers, families, and legacies.
My Lessons from the Road philosophy began with cycling and informs much of how I work as a wealth manager: the road ahead is rarely straight and flat with sunny weather, and the most meaningful journey often demands preparation, patience, and the discipline to keep moving when the conditions change.
For years, I’ve worked with executives and entrepreneurs whose financial lives can feel like that kind of journey… both extraordinary and complex. Equity awards. Leadership transitions. Liquidity events. Concentrated stock positions. Complicated exit strategies. These can be real, life-changing opportunities.
They also require more than a one-size-fits-all plan.
At Kingsview Partners, I help families bring greater clarity to some of the most important chapters of their professional and personal lives. That work is grounded in care, perspective, and years of experience guiding executives and entrepreneurs through complex financial moments.
For many, the planning conversation often centers around:
When a financial life involves this many moving parts, deep collaboration becomes essential. I work closely with clients’ CPAs, attorneys, and other professional advisors to help ensure that your wealth strategy is integrated, intentional, and aligned with long-term goals.
That level of coordination is why wealth management extends well beyond investment performance. At its best, it helps people bring order, perspective, and confidence to pivotal moments in their lives and careers.
That is the heart of Lessons from the Road: preparation before the climb, discipline through uncertainty, and the understanding that the right guide can make the road ahead feel more navigable. Because in both life and investing, the journey matters — and so does having the right partner beside you for the road ahead.

Leon Shelton, CFP®, CPWA®, operates his Kingsview Partners practice out of Wayne, Pennsylvania, serving clients nationally. Born and raised in Bloomington, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Indiana University and began his career as a financial advisor in 2011.
Before entering wealth management, Leon spent over a decade as a sustainability and environmental consultant, working closely with manufacturing leadership teams to implement responsible practices that saved companies millions of dollars. While the work was impactful, Leon found himself drawn toward a more personal mission — helping individuals and families directly shape their futures. That calling ultimately led him to financial advising, where the impact is measured not just in outcomes, but in lives changed.
A Strategic Guide with a Long-View Perspective
Leon works primarily with biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives, helping them design comprehensive wealth management strategies aligned with their goals, values, and lifestyles. His approach emphasizes coordination — working side-by-side with CPAs, attorneys, and other trusted professionals to ensure every element of a client’s financial life moves in sync.
Drawing inspiration from endurance cycling, Leon believes financial success isn’t about speed or shortcuts, but about discipline, balance, and intentional direction. Every client’s plan reflects their personal cadence — accounting for equity compensation, tax planning, family priorities, and evolving life goals — while staying resilient through changing market and personal conditions.
“My role is part navigator, part coach. I help clients stay on course through complexity, uncertainty, and change — so their strategy supports both long-term goals and peace of mind.”
Beyond the Office
Leon lives in Wayne with his wife, Catherine. He is the proud father of two adult children, David and Elsa, a son-in-law, Nicholas, and a newborn grandson, Dane. Outside of his advisory practice, Leon is an avid cyclist and serves as Ride Director for the West Chester Cycling Club. He also remains active in his church and local community.
Whether on the road or in his professional life, Leon believes life rewards those who are intentional about where they’re headed — and who value the people they travel alongside.
