Jonathan has been advising high-net-worth families since 1997 and is one of the senior investment strategists of the team at Kingsview Asset Management’s Woodbury, NY office. His focus for private clients is on financial planning, investment strategy, asset allocation and portfolio design.
Jonathan joined Kingsview in January of 2019 after 7 years as a Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors. Previously, he spent 5 years with his team as a Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch and 8 years as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley starting in 1996. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from The State University of New York at Albany.
Jonathan was personally trained by William J. O’Neil (founder of Investor’s Business Daily) and completed the IBD Portfolio Management classes in Fundamental & Technical analysis, completing Levels I, II, & III. Jonathan is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, having earned the CRPC® designation in 2008 and holds the AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, signifying specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. Jonathan was named by New York Magazine as a “Five Star Wealth Manager” (2015) and was featured in the Forbes Magazine article, “Investing with a Safety Net” (2014).
As one of the senior investment strategists on the team, Jonathan overlays his macroeconomic and capital markets perspectives to all client investments. His direct responsibilities include managing various multi-asset class portfolios for domestic and international clients, as well as analyzing and recommending alternative investments. In addition, Jonathan has had extensive experience advising and consulting with businesses of all sizes and industries on various ways of creating efficiencies and growth.
Born and raised on Long Island, Jonathan serves on several corporate Advisory and Charitable Organization Boards. He is a lifetime member of both the American MENSA Society and the Greater New York MENSA Society and is also a competitive amateur golfer.
He and his wife Jessica live in Plainview, NY and have two sons, Jacob 13 and Noah 10.
