Joe’s first career job out of the US Airforce was with a bank. Joe was a banker when a client encouraged him to become a financial planner because he needed someone to operate in their family’s best interest.
This client wrote to Jamie Dimon, the (CEO of JP Morgan) on Joe’s behalf, which led him to an in a by-invitation-only program to become a financial advisor.
A few years later, Joe asked his client why he wrote to the JP Morgan CEO and why he hand-picked him to manage his family’s estate. He said the broker he was using was disrespectful and took advantage of his lack of knowledge in the markets and financial products.
Joe believes that he must empower and educate through a consultative approach.
Joe specializes in helping retirees, professionals, and small business owners.
Joe has been in the financial industry for 12 years and has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor. Joe takes his clients through a proprietary process. This process helps assess the client’s current situation, and this analysis sets the initial course of action in their retirement plan journey. This written financial plan becomes their ongoing living blueprint. To implement the blueprint, Joe uses a proprietary wealth management process only available to his clients.
This strategic process is the reason Joe created the most financial plans in Georgia while at JP Morgan in 2017. Joe has also advanced his knowledge and skill by acquiring a Certificate of Financial Planning from NYU.
Joe has access to multiple custodians. Having access to Raymond James, Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and Interactive Brokers as custodians give Joe the ability to pick the custodian that will work best for his clients. As a fiduciary (a legal obligation to act on his client’s best interest), Joe’s loyalty remains fixed on his client and not on products. Joe likes to remind his clients and prospects that if they don’t see the term fiduciary in writing, there is a good chance they’re dealing with someone who does not have their 100% best interest in mind.
Joe also has a network of some of the best—advanced tax, estate planning, and investment planning specialists from around the country.
Today, Joe lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife Maria and twin girls, Valentina and Sophia. Joe currently operates his independent financial planning and investment management practice through Kingsview Partners. Joe specializes in offering clients easy to understand yet comprehensive financial information under the fiduciary standard.
