Jody Robinson, CFP®

Partner | Wealth Manager

Jody Robinson is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Partner, and Wealth Manager with Kingsview Wealth Management. Based in Burr Ridge, Illinois, she works primarily with corporate executives, small business owners, and their families in the Chicago area and nationwide.

Many of her clients are hardworking people in their 40s, 50s, and early 60s who have spent years building wealth. Jody helps them get organized, prepare for what is ahead, and make decisions with greater clarity across their financial lives.

A Career Built on Candor

After guiding clients through the Great Recession, Jody established her own wealth management practice in 2010. That time defined how she’s run her practice the past 16 years.

Jody is direct.

“Great advice is not something an advisor simply delivers while the client sits on the other side of the table. It is a two-way street built on candor, preparation, trust, and accountability.”

She helps turn what her clients have built into a strategy for the future: bringing investments, retirement planning, taxes, workplace benefits, insurance, and legacy decisions into one coordinated picture.

Jody offers something clients often value just as much as technical knowledge: perspective. The 2008 Great Recession taught her that most important financial decisions rarely arrive neatly packaged. She is comfortable helping clients work through the gray areas where career, family, money, opportunity, and uncertainty collide.

Understanding More Than the Numbers

Jody is also the author of Money Messages, which explores how personal experiences and beliefs shape the way people make financial decisions. That perspective carries directly into her practice. A financial statement can tell Jody what someone owns. It cannot tell her what they value, what keeps them up at night, or what they want all their hard work to make possible.

Those conversations matter.

Jody remains accessible, available, authentic, and honest with the people she serves, and she looks for the same qualities in return. She wants clients who are willing to have real conversations about where they are and where they want to go.

Service Beyond the Office

Jody’s stewardship extends well beyond her practice. She believes professional success creates an opportunity to make a broader impact.

She focuses much of her philanthropic work on food insecurity and opportunities for women and children, while also mentoring the next generation of financial professionals, including aspiring CFP® practitioners.

Her community involvement has included leadership and volunteer service with the Financial Planning Association of Illinois, HOBY Youth Leadership, Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, local food pantries, and her church.

For Jody, wealth is never the end of the story. The real story is the purpose of wealth: the freedom to pursue their dreams, care for loved ones, embrace new opportunities, and make a difference. She is passionate about providing thoughtful advice her clients deserve.
