Bringing over 20 years of industry experience to his clients, Wealth Manager and Partner David Hooper operates his independent practice at Kingsview Partners in Seattle, Washington.
Mr. Hooper grew up just outside of Seattle on Bainbridge Island, graduating from Middlebury College and then earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Washington. Early in his career, he worked for Charles Schwab as a fixed income trader and then Wells Fargo Advisors as a portfolio analyst, business development manager and Financial Advisor. Having been awarded the highest distinction in the investment management profession, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) in 2006, David brings to his valued clients a unique blend of complementary disciplines. Combining sophisticated in-depth analysis from his CFA® background with his detailed comprehension of business practices (MBA), he has the skillset few Wealth Managers can provide.
Grateful to be aligned with a truly independent Registered Investment Advisory Firm, Mr. Hooper loves the ability to help people and to be a positive influence in their lives. He greatly enjoys building long-term relationships with his clients, giving them the assurance that they have someone looking out for their best interests. Reminding clients, “life is too short not to trust your advisor,” David often goes beyond their finances to help provide additional planning resources.
Operating under a fiduciary standard along with Kingsview’s multi-custodian, fee-based platform, David has the freedom to truly provide comprehensive client-centric strategies and services. These services include holistic financial planning, professional portfolio management, streamlined performance reporting and collaboration with tax and legal professionals.
Away from the office David plays basketball and volunteers on the West Seattle YMCA Board. He also enjoys snow skiing and traveling with his family, currently living in West Seattle with his wife Elise and two daughters.
