Bill Collins grew up in Rye, New York where he developed an interest in finance, a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to help others.
Bill is a graduate of Hobart College where he obtained a degree in Philosophy, while serving as VP of the Entrepreneur’s Club and the Pledge Master for the Kappa Alpha Society. When he wasn’t busy dedicating his time to his studies he enjoyed playing lacrosse and squash.
After graduation Bill began his long career in financial services. His broad experience spans various aspects of the retirement planning and investment management industry. Bill’s experience includes serving as the National Sales Director at Merrill Lynch, where he built and managed a team of 30 specialists who assisted financial advisors with the technical aspects of consultative selling and servicing of IRAs, Roth IRAs, 529s, SIMPLES, SEPs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, Non-Qualified Plans and Defined Benefit Plans. He also worked as Global Head of Corporate Consulting for Pershing, where he created a team of 8 consultants who strategically sold IRAs, Retirement Plans, 529s, Non-Purpose and Fully Paid Securities Lending, Trust Services, Cash Management Accounts, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, ETFs and Annuities to serve the needs of Broker/Dealers and RIAs. Most recently Bill served as Vice President with American Century where he was responsible for consultative sales of mutual funds and CITs in the retirement plan space, which included 401(k)s, 403(b)s, Non-Qualified Plans and Defined Benefit Plans.
Today, Bill lives in Summit, New Jersey where he currently operates his own independent financial planning and investment management practice through Kingsview Wealth Management. In his free time, Bill enjoys playing golf, paddle tennis, reading and cooking. However, Bill’s greatest joy is time spent with his three children: Ginny, Charlie and Cassie.
