Andrew J. Butler, CFP®

Partner | Wealth Manager

Andrew J. Butler, CFP®, serves clients through his Kingsview Partners practice in Mecosta, Michigan. He began his career as a financial advisor in 2004 after serving as an officer and aviator in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent more than a decade flying AH-1W attack helicopters. His path into wealth management grew from a desire to keep serving something greater than himself and help individuals, families, and business owners pursue their financial goals with purpose.

A Planner Built on Service and Lifelong Partnership

As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), AJ uses a disciplined planning process to build personalized financial strategies shaped around each client’s circumstances and long-term goals. He takes time to understand the full picture, establish measurable objectives, and create strategies designed to help clients stay on course through every stage of life.

AJ works with a wide range of clients, including multigenerational families, retirees, and small business owners. His practice often includes planning around wealth transfer, retirement income, education funding, business succession, asset growth, and tax-aware decision-making. He also believes strong advice works best when it is coordinated, which is why he regularly collaborates with clients’ CPAs, attorneys, and other trusted professionals to help keep every part of the plan aligned.

What drives AJ most is seeing clients achieve things they once believed were out of reach. For him, the work becomes especially meaningful when years of thoughtful planning turn into real milestones and excitement for the families he serves.

After 11 years in the military, I wanted my next chapter to continue serving something greater than myself. Helping individuals and families pursue their goals and achieve things they once thought were out of reach is deeply fulfilling.
