Alan Gieleghem operates his independent Kingsview Partners practice in Rochester Hills, Michigan alongside his partner, Chris Kramer CEPA®. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Oakland University, and comes to Kingsview with six years of professional industry experience.
Strategic Planning
As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP ®), Alan’s goal is to provide sound reliable financial advice that’s backed by thorough research. This ensures his clients feel confident that they’re making informed calculated decisions – not just during market downturns, but also amid periods of exuberance. Alan knows that life throws curveballs – like losing a spouse, medical emergencies, retirement transitions, career changes, along with generational wealth transfers (just to mention a few) – and gets immense satisfaction in helping clients navigate these challenges. Alan’s understanding of these matters helps him craft tailored plans that position his clients to maximize their chances of success when these events occur.
Guiding Financial Decisions
Alan loves being the first person someone calls for guidance on making financial decisions. His passion for helping people successfully navigate these scenarios stems from his time working in education. He spent 10 years executing doing curriculum implementation, planning instruction, assessing student’s needs, helping them set goals, and monitoring their progress. The skills Alan acquired from these experiences laid out the foundation for how he runs his growing financial advisory practice.
Fatherhood
Beyond his dedication to education and financial planning, Alan cherishes his role as a father. Alan’s passion for parenting goes beyond his own children. He actively encourages other fathers to embrace fatherhood, by championing a simple and powerful practice: writing letters to their children. Alan believes communicating in this manner can create, mend, and strengthen a father’s connections with their children on both a personal and emotional level.
