Raised in Lowry City, Missouri, Josh now resides in the historic district of Chautauqua, Illinois. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he earned his degree in Mass Communications.

He enjoys traveling with family and friends, especially to historic locations, and has a passion for classic cars. Josh and his wife, Jen, have lovingly renovated several historic homes together during their 28 years of marriage. They are proud parents to four children—one daughter and three sons.
