Growing up in Millburn, NJ, Ricky Perlman was always passionate about helping others and could be found frequently volunteering for a battered women’s shelter or traveling to hospitals and senior centers spreading cheer to the sick and elderly. Ricky quickly discovered he not only enjoyed volunteering, but was also fascinated by the world of investments when he started saving and investing for his own retirement from an early age. While attending NYU, where Ricky graduated Cum Laude as an Honors Scholar, he quickly realized he was destined to be a financial advisor since it combined his passion for finance with his mission to have a career that would leave a positive impact on other people’s lives.
Ricky began his financial career at Wells Fargo where he worked with one of the firm’s top financial advisors to help clients with financial planning and investment management. He then spent time working at a boutique firm where he specialized in advanced wealth strategies for high net worth clients. In 2011, Ricky opened his own advisory practice and branch office for Edward Jones where he served his own clients while mentoring other advisors. In 2013 he won the firm’s “Leap Frog” award for having the fastest growing practice in the New Jersey region.
Today, Ricky lives in New York City and manages his own independent financial planning and investment management practice through Kingsview Asset Management. Ricky is proud to offer clients a wide variety of both tax and estate planning resources through his professional relationships with accountants and attorneys.
In his free time, Ricky is an avid traveler, a die-hard Beatles fan and a passionate guitar player. When he isn’t traveling or playing guitar, Ricky also enjoys golf, basketball and quality time with friends and family.
