Josh Lewis

Senior Managing Partner & CEO

Joshua M. Lewis is the Senior Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Kingsview Investment Partners, the holding company for Kingsview’s financial services businesses.  As the firm’s strategic visionary and the steward for its financial wellbeing, Mr. Lewis’ guidance is founded on three key fundamental principles: be different, grow appropriately, and serve prudently.

Mr. Lewis believes the key to a successful and sustainable organization is rooted in a collaborative approach, a focus on team building and a commitment to managerial flexibility. He is proud that Kingsview is an active study in cultural inclusiveness.

Mr. Lewis gained fundamental experience which would shape his career when he started as a runner on the commodities trading floors in 1990 at the World Trade Center for Refco Inc., which was one of the largest Futures Clearing Merchants in the industry at the time. His time on the floor taught him how to service client needs in a very high pressure environment where little mistakes could have grave outcomes. The trading floors are a multidimensional place where one survives on intuition and collaboration. This experience sharpened his skills as a leader and gave him a deep understanding of the underbelly of this industry and all that goes into operationally servicing a complex financial business.

Early on Mr. Lewis showed his entrepreneurial spirit when he created an independent floor brokerage business named Commodities Brokerage Services, which grew quickly as it brought new forms of service to its wholesale clients. In 1994, he sold his portion of the business to his partner so that he could expand his horizons off of the trading floor.

Mr. Lewis then transitioned into the global clearing business to run and reorganize trading desks for better efficiency. Having successfully helped to re-organize a large trade execution department, he was then recruited to build a domestic branch office and introducing broker network. In 1998, he spun off his portion of the branch network servicing business into the predecessor to what is now Kingsview Prime.

Bringing a unique approach to mid-size brokerage houses by showing them how they could better serve their end client relationships while at the same time expanding their own businesses put Mr. Lewis’s group in the unique position to prosper over very entrenched older firms. He built on that momentum when he started Kingsview Asset Management in 2008 to offer greater transparency over fees and investment choices to clients while fostering a culture of independence for advisors.

Today, Kingsview is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor that operates a nationwide network of independent financial advisors. One of the fastest growing firms in the industry, Kingsview operates under the belief that clients come first and every member of our team must work to help them achieve their long term investment goals.
